Personal Training

As some of you may remember a while back Anthony Gillespie from http://www.bestpracticept.com.au/  approached me to do a Social Buzz Challenge which I gladly accepted. After putting on 10 kgs in 2 years from enjoying food and being busy with work, I'm happy to recieve some help.

This afternoon I had my first personal training session with Owen, a lovely young man who put up with me moaning and groaning.  I participated willingly and began to wonder why I agreed to this as there were a couple of times I wanted to fall on the floor and give up, not because he pushed me too hard, but because I haven't done gym work since 1997.  I did join a ladies gym 2 years ago, I won't name names, but it was so boring and there is no motivation what so ever.  I think I went 4 times and then used work as an excuse not to go back, another $1000 down the drain.

Having Owen by my side teaching me techniques, working with me and encouraging me really helped. This 30 minutes of excercise went fast and I think I'll be able to stick with it, well, lets hope so because I need to lose 10 kgs. I think the time flew by because there were so many different types of physical activites; rowing machine, bike, push ups, squats, step ups while throwing and catching a ball, arm press and 2 other things, I'm not sure what they are called, as long as they help me lose weight and tone up, that's all that matters.

I think I'll be sore for a couple of days :-(
